Sailing on a Saturday
I'm afraid of three things: Heights, the ocean and roller coasters. Two weekends ago, I went sailing and conquered my fear of the ocean. I've obviously never sailed before and was quite nervous. The wind was whipping along, the sun was out and I couldn't help but think What have I gotten myself into? Ten minutes later I was hauling on line and we were cruising at ten knots and wow I had a huge smile on my face. We did, however, run into some problems. The first being that none of life vests fit us correctly. Mine hung far too loose, and my friend, Brian, was torn at the seams. It ended up not being a huge problem though because neither of us fell in.
